  First, let be say that I went to this establishment at 8PM on New Years Eve. I couldn't believe the "luck" I had at reservations. When my fiance and I arrived, the place was deserted. The owner and one girl working. It being a self service and mainly steakhouse, we chose our entrees from the refrigerated case. We were told they would be brought out to our table. We started to give our order and were told that there was not enough salad for us both to have a salad (?) We then tried to order sides. Baked potato? Sorry, but they only had one baked potato. I ordered something else from the extremely limited offerings. When our food came out, it was sizzling on a "lava rock". They were placed on the table for us to monitor. As I sat there, my steak was splattering all over my table, shirt and tie. When I asked about correcting this, I was given a lobster bib! No plates - eat right off of the rock. However, forget medium rare. The steak continues to cook as you try to eat. I'm very forgiving, as is my fiance. As she has been in the food service business for a long time. The reason given for the level of service and food that we got, was that they were changing the menu. Wow. We drove twenty miles in the storming rain for THIS? Our bill was almost $80 for two steaks, a salad and a macaroni and cheese. A side of apology would have gone miles. I'm sorry, but after seeing these five star ratings for this steakhouse I had to put in my thoughts and experience. Far below my expectations. Great concept. Needs fine tuning.
